organic wool duvet GOTS - all year
A popular duvet with organic cotton percale outer filled with organic wool fleece in individually quilted pockets.
Wool is an excellent temperature and moisture regulator providing a healthy micro-climate to sleep in. A tried and tested true classic in our duvet range. Organic wool duvets are recommended for people who are looking for a healthy micro-climate to sleep in and is suitable for most environments.
Duvets are also equipped with cotton ties on the corners which allow them to be combined with other duvets for extra weight and warmth.
The quilting pattern gives the duvet a lovely drape so it can better 'envelope' the sleeper and keep out draughts.
We have three weights of organic wool filled duvets to choose from (summer, all-year, winter).
This is a mid-weight, mid-warmth duvet suitable for most of the year.

Please note that duvets are cut generously as there will be an initial shrinkage after the first few weeks of use. (This is due to the heat and moisture generated during sleep which will make the duvet contract slightly.)
How to care for your wool duvet: Duvets made with animal hairs have the natural capacity to regenerate themselves - air them frequently and expose them to sunlight when possible. Stains can be spot-cleaned using a special wool detergent. Do this gently by hand and direct a handheld shower onto the area to be cleaned. Make sure the duvet is dried thoroughly (on a flat surface) before placing it into a duvet cover.
Dry-cleaning: It is possible to dry-clean this duvet (but from an environmental health perspective we'd not encourage this). Stay away from the conventional methods using harsh chemicals (like perchloroethylene or "perc"). There are more and more 'green' dry cleaning options available now, if you have to use this method, please consider these.
