Tencel fibres is where sustainability meets high-tech, created from cellulose dervived from eucalyptus trees. It's biodegradable and recognised by Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) as being different from other manufacturers.
This is a mid-weight, mid-warmth duvet suitable for most of the year. The fibres have an excellent capacity to absorb moisture, and are better at retaining heat than cotton. Tencel is the ideal choice for people who suffer from allergies as it combines the convenience of a synthetic fibre with the comfort and healthy qualities of natural fibres, and suitable for people that want to wash their duvets often.

- we cut our duvets generously to allow for the initial shrinkage in the first few weeks, due to heat and moisture created during sleeping.
- Tencel fibres are made from cellulose - a raw natural fibre - that is derived from eucalyptus grown in sustainable forestry on marginal land not used for food crops. An elaborate process turns the cellulose into Tencel fibres (all chemicals are kept in a closed loop system). This low-energy process, which uses chemicals that are much more environmentally sensitive than those used for the processing of bamboo, was awarded the 'European Award for the Environment' by the EU.
How to care for your tencel duvet:
Air your duvet regularly, preferably outside, and spot-clean any stains or marks. This duvet is machine washable at max 40 degrees C, in a gentle wash (please see washing instructions on the label for full details).
