Like all our mattresses, this natural horsehair mattress is free from toxic chemicals including solvents, CFCs, formaldehydes and chemical retardants.  Covered in undyed and unbleached organic cotton and quilted with organic wool, for a breathable, durable and skin friendly cover.  The horsehair is hygienically steam cleaned and allowed to air dry, without the use of detergents.
