horsehair mattress

Our latex free mattress is crafted from of 10 layers of natural and untreated horsehair, handtufted into an organic cotton drill cover with organic wool underquilting to add an extra layer of comfort to your mattress.  This is a traditional mattress with a firm, non-springy feel and superb temperature and moisture regulating properties, creating a wonderful sleep environment. 

We recommend that you turn this mattress frequently.  Approximately 11cm high. This mattress has a very firm feel.

Our horse hair is gather humanely from live horses, in Mongolia and South America. 

All mattresses are hand made and take 6-8 weeks to be delivered.
