*Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) mean the use of hazardous chemicals is prohibited, and all the waste water is treated, protecting workers and local water supplies. Organic cotton farming methods prevent the use of toxic pesticides and lock CO2 in to the soil. GOTS also requires fair and safe working conditions. All dyes used under GOTS standards are strictly tested for the lowest possible toxicity to make sure they are absolutely safe for human use and that there will be no detrimental impact on the environment.
