Very fine organic cotton percale cover filled with the most precious camel hair carefully harvested by hand combing- the down from the camel's belly and by collecting the hair that is naturally shed in the spring. (only 5,000 g max. can be harvested per camel per year.)

Camels withstand extreme fluctuations in temperature - scorching days and freezing nights - which makes camel hair a superb filling material providing an even and pleasant temperature and excellent moisture regulating and warmth retention properties.

The duvet feels light, soft and super luxurious. The Rolls Royce of duvets! Perfect for a healthy and indulgent sleep all year round.
It is recommended for people who like the healthy qualities of wool for their sleeping environment but are looking for a more delicate and sumptuous alternative to sheepswool.

Duvets are also equipped with cotton ties on the corners which allow them to be combined with other duvets for extra weight and warmth.
The quilting pattern gives the duvet a lovely drape so it can better 'envelope' the sleeper and keep out draughts.

approx sizes Single - 135 x 200 cm (53" x 79") Double - 200 x 200 cm (79" x 79") King - 225 x 220 cm (86" x 86") Super king - 260 x 220 cm (102"x 86") Please note that duvets are cut generously as there will be an initial shrinkage after the first few weeks of use. (This is due to the heat and moisture generated during sleep which will make the duvet contract slightly.) How to care for your camel hair duvet: Duvets made with animal hairs have the natural capacity to regenerate themselves - air them frequently. Stains can be spot-cleaned using a special wool detergent. Do this gently by hand and direct a handheld shower onto the area to be cleaned. Make sure the duvet is dried thoroughly (on a flat surface) before placing it into a duvet cover. Dry-cleaning: it is possible to dry-clean this duvet (but from an environmental health perspective we'd not encourage this). Stay away from the conventional methods using harsh chemicals (like perchloroethylene or "perc"). There are more and more 'green' dry cleaning options available now, if you have to use this method, please consider these.
