Sonett makes cleaning products using biodynamic and organic ingredients that really work. Sonett cleaning products do not harm your skin or the environment. All surfactants are of vegetable origin from biodynamically or organically grown plants and are 100% biodegradable. They are free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances, dyes, enzymes, petroleum-based ingredients or allergens. Fragrance is restricted to a few, non-allergenic organic and natural essential oils. Sonett products are GM-free.
A totally fragrance free range - 'Neutral' - is also available.
The inspiration for the Sonett range and its focus on the purity of ingredients stems from a deep respect for water as the basis, carrier and embodiment of life. Sonett consider it their responsibility to renaturalise water which has been used for laundry washing and cleaning. This is why they add to their products substances (balsamic additives consisting of frankincence, gold, myrrh, bayberry, olive oil and rose ashes) which have been rhythmatised in an oloide mixer and work with process water that is swirled in twelve egg-shaped glass vessels.
Electricity for the Sonett facility is generated by a hydro-electric plant nearby, heating is derived from the wood-shaving incinerator of a sawmill which is part of a neighbouring Camphill workshop and whose residents help with the packaging and labelling of the Sonett products.
