Horsehair has been used for centuries in mattresses, pillows and upholstery and is said to have anti-rheumatic properties.

Horsehair is very elastic and retains its shape well, so makes a firm and supportive pillow, without being too rigid. It also has excellent moisture balancing qualities.

Our loose untreated horsehair comes from live Argentinian horses.
