special horsehair mattress

This is a latex free mattress which consists of 10 layers of horsehair (1000gr per layer!) handtufted into a cotton drill with wool underquilting which softens the robust feel of the horsehair.

This is a traditional mattress with a firm, non-springy feel and superb temperature and moisture regulating properties. This mattress should be turned frequently; if looked after well it is virtually indestructible.

Organic cotton cover quilted with organic wool.

Approx 11cm high. This mattress has a very firm feel.

All mattresses are hand made and take 4-6 weeks to be delivered
