The products are 100% natural and free from synthetic ingredients. No preservatives, lanolin or petroleum-derived oils are used. The majority of the raw materials are certified organic or are wild-crafted. The products have never been tested on animals and are suitable for vegetarians. Raw materials are purchased at fair conditions and many support specific environmental and social projects. Sun-infusion forms the basis of all Tautropfen balms and oils. It is a process by which herbs and plants are immersed in cold-pressed organic oil and then left in the sun for up to 8 weeks. The active plant ingredients are thus gently transferred to the oil without any chemical or mechanical intervention, thereby maximising their healing and nourishing potential.
